A collective is Cradled's model for a group practice: several doulas working together under one owner, with a shared client roll-up, coverage, and central intake. Here's how to get yours running.
Start with a conversation
Collectives are set up together with our team, so we can match the setup to how your practice actually works.
Email us at [email protected] to get started. There's a 14-day trial, so you can bring your team in and see the shared roll-up, coverage, and intake before you commit.
1. Invite your doulas
From the owner's web dashboard, go to Team, then Members, and add each doula by email:
- If a doula already has a Cradled care-provider account, she joins your team right away.
- If she doesn't have an account yet, she gets an email invitation to create one and land straight in your collective.
Only the owner adds and removes members.
2. Set roles
Give each teammate the right level of access:
- Owner: runs the collective and sees the full team roll-up.
- Manager: helps run the team with elevated access.
- Doula: works her own clients and the families she's assigned to.
3. Tag service areas
Tag the regions your doulas cover. Service areas are what let central intake route a new family to the right doula instead of landing in one shared pile.
4. Share the client pool
Go to Team, then Clients to see every doula's clients in one roll-up. From here you can share and assign clients across the team, so coverage and hand-offs don't depend on one person's memory.
5. Turn on central intake
Under Team, then Intake, you can take in new families through one shared front door. New leads land on the intake board, and Cradled uses your service-area tags to suggest the right doula for each one. Assign a lead, and it becomes that doula's client.
