Cradled can add a demo client — a pretend mom named Sarah, about four weeks postpartum, with a full history of check-ins, appointment notes, appointments, invoices, contracts, tasks, care-plan goals, and feed posts. It's a tool for seeing what a real, active client looks like before you have one.
Why it exists
When you first sign up, your client list is empty, and it's hard to picture what a populated dashboard actually does — the wellbeing trend chart, how appointment notes behave, what a client's tabs look like full. The demo client shows you, on realistic data.
How to turn it on
- From the Welcome screen when you first sign in, click Try with demo data, or
- Go to Account → Business settings and click Try with demo data.
Sarah appears in your client list as a demo client (clearly marked) alongside any real clients.
What you can do with it
Everything you can with a real client — click through her tabs, read her check-ins, open her appointment notes, review her plan progress. Treat it as a sandbox.
What you can't do
- Send real emails or invoices to Sarah — she isn't a real person.
- Charge a demo invoice — there's no real card behind it.
Turning it off
Go to Account → Business settings and click Clear demo client. This removes the demo data.
