The client detail tabs — what each one shows

A guided tour of a client's tabs, grouped into Overview, Care, Files & docs, Notes & messages, and Billing.

Click a client to open their detail page. The tabs are organized into five groups — Overview, Care, Files & docs, Notes & messages, and Billing — so you're not staring at a wall of tabs. Here's what each one is for. (Managed clients show a smaller set, since some tabs need app data only connected clients produce.)

Overview

The at-a-glance summary. Due date, gestational or postpartum week, today's check-in score (if any), village size, most recent alerts. Start here when you haven't looked at a client in a while.

Care

Wellbeing

Daily check-in history with score trends: today's check-in, a 7-day rolling chart, and the one-word sentiments the client tagged. Only for connected clients who've granted you check-in visibility — managed clients have no wellbeing data.

Feeding

Per-feed logs from mom: type, side, position, duration, latch comfort, whether baby seemed satisfied. Concerns (hard latches, "baby not satisfied") surface at the top, alongside a 7-day feed-count chart, latch-comfort strip, last-24h timeline, and a diaper-output grid. Click "+ Add a note" on any feed to attach a clinical note mom and partner can see. Available only when the client is sharing feeding & diaper data with you.

Plans

Care plans, birth plans, and postpartum plans you've assigned, with completion progress per section and the client's answers. Partners can see these too; your private comments live in My notes, not here.

Visits

A log of every visit with this client — date, duration, topic tags, and notes. You can log past visits and edit existing ones. Works for both connected and managed clients; the client doesn't need the app.

Village

Connected clients only. The support network the client has built — partner, family, friends who've joined their village. Useful context for who's around them.

Standard steps

Your practice's standard care checklist applied to this client, with progress. If your collective has defined standard steps (a consistent set of things you do for every client), this tab tracks where this client is against them.

Files & docs

Shared files

Files you've shared with the client — resources, handouts, documents. You can send files here (they're delivered by email with a secure link for managed clients), and see what's already been shared.

Documents

Documents attached to this client's record for your own reference.

Contracts

Every contract you've sent, with status (draft, sent, signed, cancelled). Click one to see the signed version or resend.

Notes & messages

Messages

Your private message thread with the client. Mom's partner is automatically included when she has one (she can toggle this off per conversation). Photos, text, and timestamps are stored; read status is tracked. Labor-mode messages break through your phone's silent / Do Not Disturb when you're on call for her. Appointment notes

Notes the client wrote about her appointments and shared with you — you can't write here, only she can. An unread count appears when she's sent notes you haven't opened.

My notes

Your private notes about the client. She cannot see these. Use it for internal observations, reminders, and care adjustments.

Billing

Invoices

Every invoice for this client — standalone invoices and payment-plan charges. Click one to see its payment status, Stripe details, and refund history.
