Inbox and notifications

What notifications Cradled sends you, where they appear, and how to stay on top of them.

Cradled's inbox is your single place for everything that needs attention. It combines in-app notifications, client activity, and email-level alerts.

Types of notifications

Client activity

  • Client checked in — a connected client submitted a daily check-in. Shows their overall score and sentiment.
  • Hard day alert — a client reported a low score or flagged a concern. Worth checking on her.
  • Low check-in streak — a client has missed multiple days of check-ins in a row.
  • Goal completed — a client hit a postpartum plan goal you assigned.

Document activity

  • Contract signed — a client (or her partner) signed a contract.
  • Invoice paid — a client paid an invoice.
  • Invoice overdue — an invoice you sent has passed its due date.

Account activity

  • New client — someone accepted your invite and signed up.
  • Subscription update — billing changes, renewal reminders.

Marking as read

Click a notification to open it. That marks it read. You can also click Mark all read from the inbox header to clear the unread count.

Unread count badge

The sidebar shows an unread count on the Inbox tab. Useful for knowing at a glance whether something needs your attention.

Where else these show up

  • Dashboard action items — a condensed version of the most urgent ones.
  • Client cards — client-specific ones show as action badges.
  • Email — most notification types also email you (can be toggled off in Account settings).
  • Mobile app — if you've downloaded the companion mobile app, push notifications arrive there too.
