Kanban vs. list, filters, action badges, and how to find a specific client fast.

Your clients live at Clients in the left nav. There are two ways to look at them and several tools for finding one quickly.

Kanban vs. list

Toggle in the top right. Both show the same clients, organized differently.

Kanban groups clients by pipeline stage (Inquiry / Prenatal / Due Soon / Postpartum / Graduated). Good for seeing your caseload at a glance and for dragging a client to a new stage.

List shows clients in a single sortable table with columns for stage, due date, last check-in, action items. Good for scanning details and sorting.

Filters

  • Stage — show only one pipeline stage (e.g., just inquiries).
  • Archived — hidden by default; toggle on to see clients you've archived.
  • Search — matches on name and email.

Filters stack. You can search for "sarah" within "prenatal" to narrow fast.

Action badges

Every client card shows colored badges for things that need attention:

  • Invoice overdue — an invoice is past its due date and unpaid.
  • Invoice pending — an invoice is sent but not yet due.
  • Contract pending — a contract is sent but not yet signed.
  • Unread note — a client sent you an appointment note you haven't opened.

Badges are derived from real state, not flags you manage. Pay an invoice, the badge disappears.

Connected vs. managed

Every client also shows a status badge:

  • Green Connected — the client uses the Cradled mobile app.
  • Amber Managed — the client is CP-entered, no app account.

Quick ways to find a specific client

  • Search by name or email in the filter bar.
  • Click any action badge on the dashboard to jump to the affected client.
  • Recent clients appear near the top of the list view by default.
