Assigning a template turns it into a live plan on the client's Care tab, where she can fill it out section by section.
Connected vs. managed clients
- Connected clients get the plan on their mobile app's Care tab and fill it out section by section, with progress synced back to you.
- Managed clients don't have the app — but you can still send them an intake form by email. Cradled generates a public link (
cradledapp.com/form/<token>) they complete in a browser, and the answers come back to you. Plans that rely on the app experience (birth, postpartum) are connected-only.
The template must be Published (not a draft) before you can assign or send it.
Where to assign
Client detail → Plans tab → Assign template. Pick which template to assign and confirm.
What the client sees
On her mobile app's Care tab, the plan appears as a series of sections with progress bars. She can:
- Tap a section to answer its questions.
- Save her progress as she goes.
- Come back and edit answers anytime.
- See her partner's answers alongside hers in the alignment view (if partner opted in).
She gets a push notification when you assign a new plan.
Tracking completion
On the client's Plans tab in your dashboard, you'll see each assigned plan with a progress indicator (e.g., "6 of 12 sections complete"). Click a plan to drill into her answers section by section.
Alignment check
If a template has alignment check enabled on specific questions, you'll get a notification when the client or her partner answers those — useful for questions where disagreement between partners is worth a conversation. The question still gets answered normally; the alignment flag just highlights it in your view.
Unassigning
You can unassign a plan from the client's Plans tab. Her existing answers are preserved on her side but she no longer sees active progress tracking.
